Ferozepur Triple Mu*der Case: Primary Target Identified, Six Assailants Arrested

Punjab Police has successfully solved the high-profile Ferozepur triple mu*der case with the arrest of six individuals from Aurangabad, Maharashtra.
Investigations into the case have revealed that the primary target of the assailants was Dildeep Singh, while the other two victims, including a young girl, were tragically caught in the crossfire.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Gurpreet Singh, Prince, Ravinder Singh, Sukhchain Singh, Akshay, and Rajbeer Singh. They were apprehended through a joint operation involving Punjab’s Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF), Ferozepur district police, Central Agencies, and Maharashtra Police.

The incident occurred on September 3 when Dildeep Singh, Anmolpreet Singh, Jaspreet Kaur, Akashdeep, and Harpreet Singh were traveling in a car near Gurudwara Shri Akalgarh Sahib in Ferozepur City. Six unidentified assailants opened fire on the vehicle, resulting in the deaths of Dildeep Singh, Akashdeep Singh, and Jaspreet Kaur. Anmolpreet Singh and Harpreet Singh were injured but survived.
According to the investigation, the murders were motivated by personal enmity between Dildeep Singh and Buvnesh Chopra alias Ashish. Buvnesh Chopra is currently a fugitive, and efforts are underway to secure his deportation or extradition.
The arrested individuals have a history of criminal activity, with cases registered against them for various offenses including murder, attempted murder, robbery, drug trafficking, and illegal possession of weapons.
Punjab Police has been actively working to dismantle organized criminal networks in the state, in line with the directives of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. The arrests in this case demonstrate their commitment to addressing crime and ensuring public safety.
