Finance Minister Cheema Distributes Appointment Letters to Newly Recruited Excise and Taxation Officials

Chandigarh, January 3
In a bid to bolster the Excise and Taxation Department’s workforce, Punjab Finance, Planning, Program Implementation, and Excise and Taxation Minister, Advocate Harpal Singh Cheema, today handed over appointment letters to eight newly recruited officials under the Ghar-Ghar Rojgar Yojana. The recruits include five Excise and Tax Inspectors and three Clerks.

Congratulating the new appointees, Minister Harpal Singh Cheema highlighted the significant role of the Excise and Taxation Department in driving state revenue generation, a key pillar for Punjab’s progress.
