In a notable achievement for the Punjab Police, four senior IPS officers from the state have been empanelled by the Central Government for appointment to the post of Director General of Police (DGP) or an equivalent rank.
The officers from the Punjab cadre selected for this honor include Amardeep Singh Rai (1994-batch), Anita Punj (1994), Praveen Kumar Sinha (1994), and Sudhanshu Srivastava (1994). They are part of a group of 35 IPS officers nationwide approved for elevation to this prestigious position.
