Ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction, the Gujarat Titans have made a significant move by appointing former Indian wicket-keeper batsman Parthiv Patel as the team’s assistant and batting coach.
With the IPL 2025 mega auction scheduled for November 24th and 25th, all teams have finalized their retention lists. The Gujarat Titans have retained key players like Shubman Gill, Rashid Khan, Sai Sudharsan, Rahul Tewatia, and Shahrukh Khan. Despite this, the team’s performance in IPL 2024 was below par, managing only five wins.
Parthiv Patel, who was previously associated with the Mumbai Indians and played a crucial role in their IPL title win, will now bring his vast experience to the Gujarat Titans. In his new role, Patel will be assisting head coach Ashish Nehra and will be responsible for honing the batting skills of the team.
