Harleen Deol’s stunning 115 off 103 balls powered India to a 115-run victory over the West Indies in the second ODI in Vadodara, securing an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.
Pratika Rawal also delivered a strong performance, contributing 76 runs with the bat and taking two wickets. India set a target of 359, bowling out the West Indies for 243.
While West Indies captain Hayley Matthews led her team’s chase with a valiant 106 off 109 balls, the Indian bowlers, spearheaded by Priya Mishra, proved too strong.

- India’s Innings: India’s top order started strong, with Smriti Mandhana (53) and Pratika Rawal forging a 110-run opening partnership. Rawal continued her strong showing with 76 off 86 balls. Harleen Deol then took charge, scoring a magnificent 115 off just 103 deliveries, including 16 fours. She shared a rapid 116-run partnership off just 70 balls for the fourth wicket with Jemimah Rodrigues, who scored a quickfire 52 off 36 balls. India finished their innings at 358/5, equaling their highest-ever total in women’s ODIs.
- West Indies’ Innings: The West Indies struggled to build momentum, losing wickets early in their chase. Hayley Matthews’ century (106 off 109) provided some resistance, and there were later contributions from Shemaine Campbelle (38), Zaida James (25), and Afy Fletcher (22). However, Priya Mishra’s three wickets, along with two wickets each from Pratika Rawal (2/37), Deepti Sharma (2/40), and Titas Sadhu (2/42), sealed the win for India. The West Indies were bowled out for 243 in 46.2 overs.
With this victory, India has won the three-match ODI series 2-0.
Following Australia’s series win over New Zealand, which secured them the ICC Women’s Championship, India will now aim to overtake England for second place in the championship standings, with four matches remaining.
