India has named a formidable 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024, to be held in the UAE. All-rounder Harmanpreet Kaur will lead the Women in Blue, who aim to build on their semi-final finish in the previous edition.
The squad boasts a strong batting lineup, featuring experienced players like Smriti Mandhana, Shafali Verma, Jemimah Rodrigues, Deepti Sharma, and Richa Ghosh. Richa and Yastika Bhatia will share wicket-keeping duties.

The bowling attack includes Renuka Singh, Pooja Vastrakar, Deepti Sharma, Radha Yadav, Asha Sobhana, Sajana Sajeevan, and Shreyanka Patil. India also has a solid contingent of all-rounders in Harmanpreet, Sajana, Sobhana, and Deepti.

The selection of Yastika and Shreyanka is subject to fitness, as both players have been recovering from injuries. India will have three traveling reserves for the tournament.
