IND vs PAK, U19 Women’s Asia Cup 2024: The Indian women’s cricket team has secured a convincing victory over Pakistan. Kamalini was the standout performer for India, scoring a crucial 44 runs.
In the Under-19 Women’s Asia Cup 2024, India defeated Pakistan by a comprehensive 9 wickets. Pakistan, batting first, could only manage a paltry 68 runs, setting a modest target for India. The Indian team chased down the target with ease, thanks to some excellent bowling and batting performances.
Sonam Yadav’s Exceptional Bowling Performance Sonam Yadav was the star bowler for India. She claimed 4 crucial wickets for just 6 runs in her 4 overs. Her economical spell dismantled the Pakistan batting lineup. For her outstanding performance, she was awarded the Player of the Match. Apart from Sonam, Parunika Sisodia, VJ Josefa, and Mitali Vinod also picked up a wicket each, contributing to the team’s bowling effort.

Only Two Pakistani Batters Reached Double Figures Komal Khan was the top scorer for Pakistan with 24 runs. Apart from her, no other batter could make a significant contribution. Fatima Sana was the only other batter to reach double figures, scoring 11 runs. The entire Pakistan team was bundled out for a meager 67 runs.
India’s Impressive Batting Display Chasing a small target, India got off to a shaky start when Trisha Gogadi was dismissed early. However, Kamalini and Sanika Chalke steadied the innings with a solid partnership. Kamalini scored an unbeaten 44, while Sanika contributed 19 runs.
