The Indian men’s cricket team made a strong start to the five-match T20I series against England, securing a convincing seven-wicket victory in the opening match at the Eden Gardens.
Arshdeep Singh and Varun Chakravarthy were the stars of the show for India. Arshdeep, who now holds the record for the most T20I wickets for India, picked up two crucial early wickets, while Chakravarthy claimed three wickets, including the prized scalp of Jos Buttler.
