-Kho Kho World Cup 2025 scores, results and points table

The men’s and women’s tournaments will be held simultaneously from January 13 to 19. and results. The kho-kho world cup 2025 kicked off with the opening ceremony at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi on Monday and will conclude with the men’s and the women’s finals on Sunday.

The inaugural edition of the kho-khocompetition, backed by the Indian Olympic Association (IOA), will feature 20 men’s and 19 women’s teams.

The Indian men’s team is in Group A with Nepal, Peru, Brazil and Bhutan while the women’s team is in Group A with the Islamic Republic of Iran, Malaysia and Republic of Korea. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the quarter-finals.

Kho kho, along with other indigenous Indian sports like kabbadi  and mallkhamb was demonstrated on the sidelines of the Berlin 1936 Olympics.

Both men’s and women’s tournaments at the Kho Kho World Cup 2025 will begin with the group stages followed by the knockouts. The finals will be played on January 19.
