India Women Lose by 5 Wickets in the First ODI Against Australia

In a disappointing start to their tour of Australia, the Indian women’s cricket team suffered a 5-wicket defeat in the first One Day International (ODI) match. Australia chased down the target of 101 runs in 16.2 overs.

Opting to bat first after winning the toss, India were bundled out for a paltry 100 runs in 34.2 overs. Georgia Wareham was the star with the bat for Australia, scoring an unbeaten 46. Jemimah Rodrigues top-scored for India with 23 runs.
