Karman Talwar Secures 2nd Rank in Indian Army’s Technical Entry Scheme

Chandigarh, November 8
Karman Singh Talwar, a cadet from Maharaja Ranjit Singh Armed Forces Preparatory Institute (MRSAFPI) in SAS Nagar (Mohali), has achieved a remarkable feat by securing the second rank in the All India merit list for the Technical Entry Scheme (TES)-52 of the Indian Army.
Along with Karman Singh, three more cadets from the institute – Manas Taneja, Aniket Sharma, and Suryavardhan Singh – have also made it to the merit list.
The Technical Entry Scheme trains candidates for technical branches in the Indian Army, including engineering, signals, and electrical mechanical engineering. After selection, cadets undergo training at various military academies across India.

Punjab’s Employment Generation, Skill Development, and Training Minister, Aman Arora, congratulated the cadets and wished them success in their future endeavors. He expressed pride in the achievements of these young individuals and highlighted the institute’s role in nurturing future military leaders.
Major General Ajay H. Chauhan, VSM, Director of MRSAFPI, also congratulated the cadets and emphasized the institute’s commitment to training cadets for both the NDA and TES. He announced that the admission process for the 15th course will commence soon.
