Bryce’s Reflections

Being voted by the global cricket community makes it extra special, and just being nominated alongside players like Fatima Sana and Hayley Matthews, who both had incredible tournaments, was amazing.” She also praised her team’s growth, stating, “The World Cup Qualifier was a fantastic competition for Scotland. We developed significantly in a format we haven’t played much together, with different players stepping up at key moments. The standard of cricket in Pakistan was brilliant, with every game being closely contested. It was a wonderful tournament to be part of, and I hope we can build on this momentum.”

Although Scotland did not qualify for the Women’s Cricket World Cup in India later this year, they finished fourth in the standings with four points from five matches.
