Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 16 will premiere on August 12 and air from Monday to Friday at 9 PM on Sony TV, with Amitabh Bachchan returning as the host. In this season, after the fifth question, a special “super question” will be introduced. This question will not have any options and will not be accompanied by a lifeline. Contestants who answer correctly will activate Dugnastra, which gives them the opportunity to double their prize money. This power can be used for any question between the sixth and tenth questions, depending on the contestant’s choice.

For instance, if a contestant uses Dugnastra on the ninth question, which is worth Rs 1,60,000, and answers it correctly, they will receive a bonus amount of Rs 1,60,000. This bonus will be added to their total winnings, potentially increasing their final prize significantly.
This new twist is set to add an extra layer of excitement and strategy to the beloved quiz show, making Season 16 a must-watch for fans.
