Krisha Verma, a young boxer from Samana, Patiala district, has brought immense pride to Punjab by winning a gold medal in the 75 kg weight category at the ongoing World Boxing Championships (Under-19) in Colorado, USA.
Sharing this news, the District Sports Officer, Harvinder Singh, expressed his joy and pride. He stated that Krisha Verma, a boxer from Sunny Datta Boxing Club, Samana, has made her city, district, and the entire state of Punjab proud by winning the gold medal in the 75 kg weight category at the World Boxing Championships (Under-19) held in Colorado, USA.

The District Sports Officer, Patiala, congratulated the player and her parents on this remarkable achievement. He further added that it is a matter of great pride for the people of Punjab that a player from a small town has represented Punjab and brought glory to the entire world.
