In a landmark push to transform Punjab’s government schools into hubs of creativity, technology, and excellence, the Punjab School Education Department hosted the spectacular two-day Teacher Fest 2025-26 at Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College, Fatehgarh Sahib. Punjab Education Minister Harjot Bains hailed the fest as a powerful symbol of the teaching community’s forward-thinking energy. “The Teacher Fest was designed to shatter the routine of conventional classroom teaching and create a dynamic space where pedagogy intersects with innovation,” he said. “By empowering our teachers to seamlessly integrate traditional wisdom with modern technology, we are making a direct investment in the future of every Punjab child. The incredible enthusiasm and creativity on display here prove that Punjab’s education system is poised for a bold leap into a new era of excellence.”
Bains emphasized that “teachers are the true architects of the nation’s future”, describing the event as a rare gathering where subject experts from every district unleashed their ingenuity across 10 diverse categories. Highlights included:
