Animal Husbandry Minister Congratulates New and Promoted Employees
Chandigarh, July 22,
On Tuesday, Punjab Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development, and Fisheries Minister S. Gurmeet Singh Khudian handed over appointment letters to eight individuals—five Veterinary Inspectors, two Stenographer-cum-Typists, and one Enumerator—at his office in Chandigarh. This brings the total number of recruitments in the Animal Husbandry Department to 942 since March 2022.
Since the Aam Aadmi Party-led Punjab Government took office, the department has filled 326 Veterinary Officer positions, 545 Veterinary Inspector positions, and 63 Group C posts.
Congratulating the newly appointed officials, S. Gurmeet Singh Khudian urged them to serve Punjab’s people with diligence, dedication, and honesty, emphasizing that seamless service delivery is a top priority of the Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann-led government. He highlighted hard work as a key to success in life.
Additionally, the Minister extended congratulations to 19 Class-IV employees who have been promoted to clerical positions.
Director of Animal Husbandry Dr. Paramdeep Singh Walia and other senior officials were present at the event.
