Modi College, Commerce, Science and Arts Departments organised educational tours

The Commerce, Science and Arts Departments of Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala organised three educational excursions to Dehradun, Mussoorie and Rishikesh, Dharamshala, Kangra, McLeodganj, Manali under the guidance of Principal Dr. Neeraj Goyal. Around 250 students joined these tours under the supervision of Prof. Neena Sareen, Dr. Ashwani Kumar, Dr. Rajeev Sharma and Prof. Jagdeep Kaur. These tours were organized to equip the students with the cultural, social and economic landscapes of these historical and colorful tourist attractions.

During this tour the students visited the historical places, tourist attractions and famous buildings and markets of these cities. They interacted with the local people and closely witnessed their culture, heritage and traditional rituals and customs. The students not only enjoyed the beautiful landscapes of these cities but also enjoyed the camping, trekking, paragliding and other fun filled adventurous activities.

The students went for Camping and DJ Nights under the starlit night which will remain an indelible memory in their minds. The students enjoyed Pehadi Dishes, Italian, Mexican, Tibetian and local street food during the stay in these cities.

During this tour, around 20 teachers from the departments of Commerce, Science and Arts faculty accompanied the students and ensured their safe return to their homes.
