Chandigarh, January 17
As the Delhi Assembly elections draw near, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann spearheaded a grand roadshow in Karol Bagh, rallying support for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). During the event, Mann appealed to voters to back the AAP candidate, confidently proclaiming that on February 5, the broom—the party’s election symbol—will sweep across Delhi again, securing a landslide victory for the AAP government.
The roadshow marked the nomination of AAP candidate Vishesh Ravi, who is contesting from Karol Bagh. Addressing the crowd, Mann thanked the local residents and shopkeepers for their overwhelming support. “Your enthusiasm and massive turnout here clearly show that Vishesh Ravi will win from this constituency for the fourth consecutive time,” he said.

Highlighting the work done by AAP under Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Mann stated, “Wherever I go, people are determined to bring Kejriwal back because he has delivered for Delhi. Women can travel for free in buses, electricity and water are free for many households, and education and healthcare are provided at no cost.”
Mann also underscored AAP’s governance in Punjab and Delhi, emphasizing their commitment to public welfare. “AAP governs two states, and both provide free electricity to their people. In Punjab, 90% of households now receive zero electricity bills. In less than three years, we’ve created over 50,000 government jobs,” he said.
Discussing education and healthcare reforms in Punjab, Mann added, “Mohalla Clinics and hospitals are being set up across the state. Government schools are being transformed, and parents are now moving their children from private schools to government ones because they trust the quality of education we’re providing. Over 2.5 lakh children have been shifted to government schools.”

Mann called on voters to ensure an overwhelming mandate for the AAP in Delhi to maintain uninterrupted progress. He stressed that Arvind Kejriwal is the only leader capable of developing Delhi, whereas opposition parties are mired in corruption. “Kejriwal practices the politics of work, not rhetoric,” he concluded.
