Over 3,300 Candidates Take Entrance Exam for MRSAFPI’s 15th Course

Chandigarh, January 12

A total of 3,329 candidates appeared for the entrance exam for the 15th course at the Maharaja Ranjit Singh Armed Forces Preparatory Institute (MRSAFPI) in SAS Nagar (Mohali) on Sunday. This year saw a record 4,128 registrations, largely attributed to the Punjab government’s efforts under Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and the institute’s high success rate.

The institute is overseen by the Department of Employment Generation, Skill Development, and Training, headed by Cabinet Minister Aman Arora.

MRSAFPI Director, Major General (Retd.) Ajay H Chauhan, VSM, conducted a surprise inspection at an examination center at the School of Eminence, Phase-3B1, Mohali. Exams were held at three centers: School of Eminence (Mohali), Police DAV Public School (Jalandhar), and MSD Senior Secondary School (Bathinda). Despite inclement weather, a large number of aspiring candidates attended the test.
