Pahalgam Terror Attack: 2 Foreigners Killed, People from These States Affected, Emergency Numbers Released

In a tragic incident, a terrorist attack in a picturesque meadow near Pahalgam town in Kashmir on Tuesday claimed the lives of several tourists. Reports indicate that 27 people have been killed, though official confirmation of the toll is still awaited. Authorities stated that the attack occurred at a time when US Vice President JD Vance was on a visit to India. The firing took place around 3 PM. According to media reports, Dilip and Atul from Maharashtra lost their lives in the Pahalgam attack.
