Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav officially handed over the keys of the advanced medical van to District Red Cross Secretary Dr. Pritpal Singh today.

Dr. Preeti Yadav stated that these mobile vans will also be connected with government schools to conduct blood tests for female students as part of the Anemia Mukt Campaign. She emphasized that this service will be highly beneficial for marginalized sections of society, particularly pregnant women who suffer from various deficiencies and face difficulties in accessing healthcare centers.

She further explained that the mobile medical unit will travel to different villages, conducting medical screenings. Based on the collected data, necessary tertiary, primary, and secondary healthcare services will be provided near the patients’ homes, ensuring free medical assistance at their doorsteps.
