Patiala Set for Big Development Boost as Kejriwal Plans July Visit

Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Patiala Urban, Ajitpal Singh Kohli, held an important meeting with the party’s National Convenor, Arvind Kejriwal. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding the current political situation in Patiala and the ongoing development works in the city.
MLA Kohli presented a comprehensive report to Kejriwal highlighting the development initiatives undertaken in the constituency over the last four and a half years, along with updates on various public issues. He informed that Arvind Kejriwal is scheduled to visit Patiala in July and will announce several major projects and gifts for the city.
During the interaction, Kohli shared detailed information about the efforts made for the overall development of Patiala. Kejriwal expressed satisfaction over the progress of development works being carried out in the city.
Political activity in Patiala is currently witnessing significant momentum, and the AAP government is giving special attention to the beautification of the city. Kohli also briefed Kejriwal on the ongoing renovation project of the historic Shri Kali Devi Temple. In addition, details of development projects being undertaken by the Municipal Corporation and various government departments were also presented before the party leadership.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, MLA Ajitpal Singh Kohli said that under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the party’s popularity and performance have grown substantially over the past four and a half years.

He claimed that the Aam Aadmi Party has fulfilled all its major promises and has also delivered on its commitment regarding financial assistance for women.
Targeting opposition parties, Kohli said, “The Congress, BJP, and Shiromani Akali Dal have lost political relevance. The people of Punjab now understand that only the Aam Aadmi Party can ensure genuine development of the state.”
He further stated that development projects worth crores of rupees are currently underway across Patiala, transforming the city’s infrastructure and appearance. Kohli assured that all pending and incomplete projects would be completed and dedicated to the public within the next four months, providing significant relief and benefits to residents.
