Priyansh Arya’s six sixes came off the bowling of Manan Bhardwaj South Delhi faced an early setback, losing their first wicket at a score of just 13 runs in the third over, with S. Solanki dismissing Sarthak Ray for 11. Despite this, the team, led by Ayush Badoni, remained confident.
Ayush Badoni and Priyansh Arya then took charge, raining boundaries and sixes all over the stadium. In the 12th over, Priyansh Arya made history by hitting six consecutive sixes off Manan Bhardwaj, becoming the first batsman in Delhi Premier League history to achieve this feat in a single over.
The partnership between Ayush Badoni and Priyansh Arya for the second wicket yielded 286 runs. Captain Badoni was eventually dismissed in the 19th over by Pranshu Vijayan, after a blistering knock of 165 runs off 55 balls, including eight fours and 19 sixes. Priyansh Arya also played a sensational innings, scoring 120 runs off 50 balls, with 10 fours and 10 sixes.
