The Punjab Skill Development Mission (PSDM) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Raina Education Foundation to enhance the employability and entrepreneurial skills of Punjab’s youth.
The partnership, announced by Punjab Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Minister Aman Arora, aims to provide skills training, internships, and job placements to over 10,000 young people in the state.

The MoU was signed by PSDM Mission Director Amrit Singh and Shveta Raina of Raina Education Foundation. The initiative will be implemented through a hybrid online and in-person model, with no fees for participants.
Minister Arora emphasized the importance of this partnership in creating a skilled and job-ready workforce in Punjab, aligning with the state’s broader goals of economic development and sustainable employment.
The program will involve a multi-tiered approach, starting with an initial pool of 10,000 candidates. The top 1,000 will receive group mentoring and training, followed by online assessment and training for the top 500. Ultimately, the top 100 will be selected for internships and job placements.
The partnership will leverage Raina Education Foundation’s expertise in assessment and training to equip young people with the skills needed to succeed in today’s competitive job market.
