Punjab Bank Employees Federation Celebrates AIBEA’s 80th Foundation Day with Blood Donation Camp

On the call of the All India Bank Employees Association (AIBEA), the Punjab Bank Employees Federation (PBEF) organized a blood donation camp at the Parbhat Parwana Memorial Trade Union Centre in Patiala today, marking AIBEA’s 80th Foundation Day. The event was inaugurated by Com. S.K. Gautam, President of PBEF, with Pravin Chandra Mahesh Prasad, AGM, SBI, and Shri Uggar Narain Mishra, AGM, SBI, as guests of honor.
Addressing the volunteers, Com. Gautam praised the Patiala Unit for its outstanding efforts in mobilizing a large number of bank employees to donate blood. He commended the unit’s organizational strength and dedication, which reflected the Federation’s spirit of solidarity and social responsibility. Gautam highlighted AIBEA’s commitment to social causes, stating that initiatives like the blood donation camp exemplify the organization’s mission beyond labor rights and banking reforms.
Com. Yadvinder Gupta, Secretary of PBEF (Patiala Unit), expressed gratitude to all volunteers for their enthusiastic participation. He noted that the camp was organized to commemorate AIBEA’s eight decades of contributions to the banking sector and society. Gupta also extended special thanks to the team from Rajindra Hospital, Patiala, for their professional and meticulous handling of blood collection and management.
