Punjab CM Leads Urgent Meeting on Flood Response

Following his discharge from the hospital, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has scheduled a high-level meeting with senior officials at his residence on Friday, September 12, to intensify rescue, relief, and rehabilitation efforts for flood victims across the state.

The meeting will focus on reviewing the flood situation and accelerating measures for relief and recovery. Deputy Commissioners from flood-affected districts will participate via video conference, while Secretaries and the Chief Secretary will attend in person. Discussions will center on ensuring medical support, disbursing compensation, and implementing effective strategies to address the ongoing crisis.

CM Mann highlighted the severe devastation caused by the floods, describing it as an unprecedented natural calamity.
