Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains extended his congratulations to 77 teachers who have been selected for prestigious state awards. These teachers will be recognized for their outstanding contributions in various categories, including Teacher’s State Award, Young Teacher Award, Administrative Award, and Special Award.
A total of 55 teachers will receive the Teacher’s State Award, while 10 will be honored with the Young Teacher Award. Additionally, seven teachers will be recognized for their administrative excellence, and five will be presented with special awards.

Minister Bains expressed his admiration for the selected teachers, acknowledging their dedication and commitment to their profession. He emphasized that these individuals serve as role models for their colleagues and inspire future generations of educators.
To commemorate Teachers’ Day, the Punjab government is hosting a state-level function in Hoshiarpur. Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann will be the chief guest at this event.
Minister Bains highlighted the transparent selection process, which involved district-level committees and a state-level jury to ensure that only the most deserving candidates were chosen.
