On Wednesday, Punjab’s Finance, Planning, Excise and Taxation Minister, Advocate Harpal Singh Cheema, presented appointment letters to two Excise and Taxation Inspectors and two Clerks, bolstering the Excise and Taxation Department’s vital role in revenue generation.
In his address, Minister Cheema congratulated the new appointees, emphasizing the need for integrity, dedication, and commitment in their service to the public. He expressed optimism about their potential to enhance the department’s efforts in maintaining a strong and transparent revenue system.
“The Excise and Taxation Department is a key pillar of Punjab’s financial structure,” Cheema remarked. “These appointments demonstrate our resolve to reinforce our team with skilled and hardworking individuals who will ensure efficient revenue collection and management.”
Highlighting the Punjab Government’s focus on job creation and fiscal efficiency under Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Cheema noted that this recruitment initiative strengthens the department while supporting the state’s broader goals.
