Punjab Government Declares Seven-Day State Mourning on the Demise of Former PM Dr. Manmohan Singh

Chandigarh, December 27:

The Punjab Government has announced a seven-day State mourning, effective until January 1, 2025, to honor the demise of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh.

An official spokesperson stated that, as per the directives from the Union Home Ministry, no official celebrations will be conducted in Punjab Government offices during the mourning period. Additionally, the National Tricolor will be flown at half-mast as a mark of respect.
