The Punjab Government has successfully conducted three Mega Placement Camps for women in Hoshiarpur, Barnala, and Sri Muktsar Sahib districts. Over 2800 women participated in these camps, resulting in 1223 candidates being selected for placements and 50 shortlisted for self-employment assistance.
Employment Generation, Skill Development, and Training Minister Aman Arora announced the achievements of the camps, highlighting the government’s commitment to women’s empowerment. He emphasized the collaboration between various departments and the participation of prominent employers like Microsoft and IBM.
