The Punjab government has announced that the third Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) will be held on October 22. Over 20 lakh parents are expected to participate in the event, which will take place across 20,000 government primary and upper primary schools.
Key Objectives:
- Facilitate Dialogue: The PTM aims to foster open communication between teachers, students, parents, and school management committees.
- Discuss Academic Progress: Teachers will share September examination results and discuss individual student performance.
- Gather Feedback: Parents will have the opportunity to provide feedback on school facilities, express concerns, and offer suggestions.
Comprehensive Engagement: The PTM will be held from 9 AM to 2:30 PM, ensuring ample time for meaningful discussions and interactions.
Positive Changes in Education System: School Education Minister Harjot Bains encouraged parents to witness the transformative changes in Punjab’s education system, including the introduction of Campus Managers, enhanced security, modernized facilities, and the prestigious Schools of Eminence program.
