The Punjab Directorate NCC cadets have achieved a historic milestone by clinching the prestigious All India Thal Sainik Camp (AITSC) Senior Division Championship for the second consecutive year, dominating in 2024 and 2025.

Punjab Education Minister Harjot Bains extended heartfelt congratulations, stating, “This remarkable back-to-back triumph showcases the relentless determination, discipline, and spirit of our NCC cadets. Outshining 16 directorates, including strong contenders like Maharashtra and Karnataka, they have set a new national benchmark. They are true pioneers.”

The Minister emphasized that this victory transcends competition, reflecting the cadets’ unwavering commitment to national service. Beyond the field, these cadets have demonstrated exceptional courage in crises, from their pivotal role in Operation Sindoor to their heroic efforts alongside civil authorities during Punjab’s recent catastrophic floods, aiding in rescue and relief operations, S. Bains noted.

He highlighted that the cadets’ dual excellence—as champions in competitions and heroes in society—perfectly embodies the NCC’s ethos and the Directorate’s motto, “Discipline and Service Above All.”

This achievement cements the Punjab Directorate as a national leader in military discipline and leadership. “These victories mark the dawn of an era where Punjab sets the standard of excellence for the nation to follow,” the Minister declared.

Bains extended his best wishes for the cadets’ future endeavors and praised the dedication of their instructors and the entire NCC community for this extraordinary feat.
