Punjab Police has made a significant breakthrough in the investigation of recent petrol bomb attacks targeting Shiv Sena leaders in Ludhiana. Four individuals linked to the Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) module have been arrested.
Key Points:
- Foreign Handlers: The attacks were orchestrated by foreign-based BKI operatives, including Harjit Singh alias Laddi, who is also wanted in connection with the Vikas Prabhakar murder case.
- Arrests and Recoveries: Police have arrested Jaswinder Singh, Ravinder Pal Singh, Manish Sahid, and Anil Kumar. They have also recovered two mobile phones and a motorcycle used in the crimes.
- Modus Operandi: The accused were involved in both the October 16 attack on Yogesh Bakshi’s residence and the November 2 attack on Harkirat Singh Khurana’s residence.
- Ongoing Investigation: Police are continuing their investigation to apprehend the remaining members of the BKI module.
