Chandigarh/SAS Nagar, November 17:
In a significant operation, Punjab Police has apprehended a notorious highway robber, Satpreet Singh alias Satti, after a brief exchange of fire. The accused, known for his involvement in multiple robberies and snatchings in Punjab and Haryana, was arrested near village Lehli in SAS Nagar.
During the encounter, Satti sustained a bullet injury on his right leg. A .32 caliber pistol and five live cartridges were recovered from his possession.
The Punjab Police, under the leadership of DGP Gaurav Yadav, has been actively working to dismantle criminal gangs and ensure the safety of citizens. This latest arrest is a testament to their commitment to combating crime.
