The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) successfully conducted the Class 10 examinations for both Regular and Open School students from March 10 to April 5, 2025, spanning 26 days. The exams were scheduled thoughtfully, ensuring sufficient gaps between subjects to avoid clashes with competitive examination dates, allowing students adequate preparation time. The entire process was executed smoothly, reflecting PSEB’s commitment to a fair and efficient examination system.
Robust Examination Framework
To ensure seamless operations, PSEB implemented a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), which was shared with all stakeholders involved in the examination process. Additionally, key information regarding the conduct of exams and evaluation was communicated clearly, and all queries from participants were promptly addressed, ensuring transparency and support throughout.

Impressive Pass Percentages
This year, a total of 2,77,746 Regular students and 9,233 Open School students appeared for the Class 10 exams. The pass percentages are as follows:
- Regular Students: 95.61%
- Open School Students: 73.39%
- Rural Schools: 96.09%
- Urban Schools: 94.71%
- Girls: 96.85%
- Boys: 94.50%
Girls outperformed boys, securing a higher pass percentage, continuing a trend of academic excellence.
Perfect Scores Secure Top Ranks
In the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) Class 10 examination results announced on May 16, 2025, Akshnoor Kaur from Faridkot clinched the top position statewide by scoring a perfect 650 out of 650 marks. Following closely, Ritinder Deep Kaur from Sri Muktsar Sahib secured the second rank, and Akshdeep Kaur from Malerkotla took the third rank, with both also achieving a perfect score of 650/650.
Accessing Results
PSEB has made the results available on its official website, www.pseb.ac.in, where students can check their scores using their roll numbers. School-wise results are also accessible on individual school portals. Additionally, result documents are being provided to students through their DigiLocker accounts for easy and secure access.
Support for Students’ Future
As part of its student support initiatives, PSEB is offering free aptitude testing, career guidance, and online counseling to 50 students on a first-come, first-serve basis through the Board’s website. This program aims to help students make informed decisions about their future studies and career paths.
