Punjab Women’s Commission Issues Notice to SGPC Chief Over Derogatory Remarks

The Punjab State Women’s Commission has issued a suo moto notice to Harjinder Singh Dhami, President of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), over his derogatory remarks against Bibi Jagir Kaur. The Commission has demanded an explanation from Dhami by December 17th.
The Commission has condemned Dhami’s offensive language and emphasized the need for respect towards women. It has called for his resignation from the SGPC, citing his inappropriate behavior.
