- Aman Arora Congratulates Cadets, Wishes Them a Bright Future in Service of the Nation
Chandigarh, May 30
Eight cadets from the Maharaja Ranjit Singh Armed Forces Preparatory Institute (MRSAFPI), SAS Nagar, brought glory to Punjab by graduating from the National Defence Academy (NDA) Khadakwasla, Pune, as part of the 148th NDA Course Passing Out Parade on Friday. The parade was reviewed by General VK Singh, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, ADC (Retd), Governor of Mizoram and former Chief of Army Staff.
Punjab’s Employment Generation, Skill Development, and Training Minister, Aman Arora, shared the achievement, identifying the cadets as Paramjot Singh and Aniket Kahol from Hoshiarpur, Arpit Parashar from Sangrur, Abhay Singh Raghav and Vishesh Sood from SAS Nagar, Udhibir Singh from Ropar, and Anurag Chauhan and Tanmay Sharma from Pathankot. Having completed three years of intensive training at NDA, these cadets will now undergo a year-long training at Service Training Academies before being commissioned into the Defence Services.
Aman Arora extended his congratulations, urging the cadets to excel and make Punjab proud. He emphasized the Punjab Government’s commitment, under Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, to support youth aspiring to join the defence services as commissioned officers. Arora also expressed satisfaction with MRSAFPI’s consistent excellence in producing top-tier cadets.

Major General Ajay H. Chauhan, VSM (Retd), Director of MRSAFPI, also congratulated the graduates, revealing that 28 more cadets from the institute are awaiting call-up letters to join Service Training Academies. He further noted that three MRSAFPI alumni are currently serving as instructors at NDA, Khadakwasla. “These accomplishments fill MRSAFPI and Punjab with immense pride,” he stated.
