Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Monday felicitated the successful candidates of the prestigious UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025, lauding their remarkable achievements and describing them as a reflection of Punjab’s growing educational strength and the immense potential of its youth.

During an interaction with the newly selected officers, the Chief Minister expressed pride in seeing young men and women from ordinary families secure some of the country’s most prestigious positions through dedication, perseverance, and hard work. He said their success serves as an inspiration for countless other youngsters across the state.

Highlighting the outstanding performance of girl candidates, CM Mann said that daughters are excelling in every field and emerging as role models for society. He described their achievements as a powerful symbol of women empowerment, proving that equal opportunities and encouragement enable girls to achieve excellence in every sphere.

The Chief Minister reaffirmed the Punjab Government’s commitment to educational reforms and student welfare. He stated that the government is continuously working to provide quality education, modern infrastructure, and equal opportunities to every child, regardless of their socio-economic background.

Sharing his thoughts after the meeting, CM Mann said, “It was a privilege to felicitate these bright young achievers who have brought immense pride to Punjab by clearing the UPSC examination. Their determination, hard work, and perseverance are truly inspiring. I am confident that they will serve the nation and Punjab with honesty, commitment, and sincerity.”

He emphasized that it is the dream of the Punjab Government to see more young people occupy high and prestigious positions in public service and other sectors. “Our government is working tirelessly to turn this dream into reality,” he added.

Addressing the selected IAS officers, CM Mann noted that Punjab’s youth continue to make the state proud through their accomplishments. He said their success not only brings glory to Punjab but also reflects the positive transformation taking place in the state’s education sector.

The Chief Minister expressed confidence that such achievements would continue in the future, stating that the success of students from ordinary families proves that no goal is unattainable when supported by hard work, determination, and proper guidance.

Praising the achievements of girl students, CM Mann said they have consistently excelled in academics and competitive examinations. “Our daughters are proving their capabilities whenever they are given an opportunity. Their success sends a strong message that with equal opportunities and encouragement, girls can accomplish anything,” he said.

Describing their achievements as a matter of pride for the entire state, he called them a clear indicator of women empowerment and social progress.

The Chief Minister reiterated that quality education remains one of the Punjab Government’s top priorities. He said significant efforts are being made to strengthen government schools through improved infrastructure, innovative teaching methods, and a conducive learning environment.

“Every child deserves access to quality education. We are committed to ensuring that opportunities reach every household so that children from common families can achieve their dreams and compete on an equal footing,” he said.

CM Mann urged parents to recognize and nurture the unique talents and interests of their children instead of imposing career choices upon them. He emphasized that children perform best when they receive confidence, encouragement, and support from their families.

Reaffirming the government’s dedication to educational reforms, he said Punjab is committed to creating an environment where every child can realize his or her full potential.
