A prestigious refresher course on ‘Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, and Engineering’ concluded successfully at the UGC Malviya Mission Teacher Training Centre, Punjabi University. The valedictory session was chaired by Vice-Chancellor Dr. Jagdeep Singh, with Professor Vijay Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa, as the chief guest, according to Professor Raman Maini, Director of the Centre.

In his address, Dr. Jagdeep Singh highlighted the critical role of refresher courses in an educator’s career, emphasizing their importance in staying connected with emerging knowledge and modern trends. “Continuous learning is essential for educators to keep up with new knowledge, and refresher courses play a vital role in this process,” he stated. He added that such programs provide a crucial platform for knowledge sharing and skill development, extending his best wishes to all participants for their future academic and professional endeavors.

Chief Guest Professor Vijay Kumar praised the program’s significance, calling it a valuable initiative for faculty members from institutions across India. He spoke on the transformative impact of technology and research, stressing the need to equip educators with cutting-edge knowledge to tackle emerging challenges in physics, chemistry, and engineering.
