Black Elephant Cricket Club (BECC), Patiala, clinched the inaugural Renu Kalyan Memorial Under-10 Cricket Tournament title by defeating Bhupindra International Public School (BIPS) by a narrow margin of 2 runs in a nail-biting final at the Indian Army Ground, Patiala.
BECC captain won the toss and elected to bat first in the 30-over match. The home side posted a competitive total of 132 for 6, largely due to an unbeaten 51 from Anubhav and a valuable 41 from Yashdeep.
For BIPS, Arav was the pick of the bowlers with 2/21, while Raman claimed 2/40 and Ishan took 1/20.
Chasing 133, BIPS came agonisingly close, reaching 130 all out in 29.5 overs. Ramandeep Singh top-scored with 30, followed by Ishan (28) and Arav (20).

The match turned dramatically in the final over when right-arm medium pacer Anubhav bowled a game-changing spell, taking 4 wickets in the last over while conceding just 5 runs to seal victory for BECC.
