Sehwag’s Son, Aryavir, Hits Double Century in Cooch Behar Trophy

Virender Sehwag’s son, Aryavir, has made a significant mark in the cricketing world by smashing a double century in the Cooch Behar Trophy match against Meghalaya on Thursday.

The former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag’s son, Aryavir, turned heads with a powerful innings on Thursday. Playing for Delhi in the Cooch Behar Trophy match against Meghalaya at the MCA Cricket Ground in Shillong, Aryavir achieved a double century. He remained unbeaten on 200 at the end of the second day’s play.

Meghalaya, batting first against Delhi, scored 260 runs in their first innings. In response, Delhi put up a spectacular performance, reaching 208/2 at the end of the second day’s play. Aryavir and S Bugga shared a 180-run partnership for the first wicket.

While Bugga was dismissed before reaching a century on the second day, Aryavir remained unbeaten. He scored 200 runs off 229 balls, including 34 boundaries. Apart from Aryavir, Dhania Nakra also remained unbeaten on 98 off 91 balls.

Earlier this year, Aryavir made his Under-19 debut for Delhi against Manipur in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy. He played a brilliant knock of 49 runs and played a crucial role in his team’s victory. Last year, Sehwag revealed that his son is working hard to play in the IPL.
