In a significant development, the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) Working Committee held a meeting in Chandigarh today under the chairmanship of Acting President Balwinder Singh Bhundar. During the meeting, a major decision was taken regarding the resignation of Sukhbir Singh Badal as party president.
The Working Committee has officially accepted Sukhbir Singh Badal’s resignation. It is noteworthy that Sukhbir Badal had submitted his resignation from the position of party president on November 16.
