Australia, after winning the toss and choosing to bat first, struggled against a disciplined South African bowling attack. They were restricted to 105/8, with Ashleigh van Wyk leading the charge with a four-wicket haul. While Ella Briscoe’s late hitting (27*) helped them surpass the 100-run mark, it wasn’t enough. South Africa’s sharp fielding, including several difficult catches, also played a crucial role in restricting the Australians.

South Africa chased down the target with 11 balls to spare, thanks to solid batting performances from Jemma Botha (34) and Kayla Reyneke (26). Despite losing a few wickets, including Simone Lourens early on, South Africa maintained a comfortable run rate. Even though Australia managed to grab a few more wickets, the Proteas cruised to victory, demonstrating their composure and strong batting lineup.

South Africa will now face either India or England in the final on Sunday.
