England’s veteran opener, Tammy Beaumont, has been crowned the ICC Women’s Player of the Month for September 2024. Beaumont edged out Ireland’s young bowling talent Aimee Maguire and UAE’s all-rounder Esha Oza for the prestigious award.
Dominating Performance in Ireland
Beaumont’s September was a masterclass in batting. Touring Ireland with a relatively inexperienced England squad, she took the responsibility on her shoulders and dominated in both white-ball formats. This stellar performance marks a return to form for the 33-year-old right-hander, who previously won the same award back in February 2021.
