A grand, profoundly emotional, dignified, and truly unforgettable farewell ceremony, titled Shashwat, was held on 6 February at Scholar Fields Public School, Patiala, bringing a poignant close to the academic journey of the Class XII students. Centred on the evocative theme of “Cultural Heritage”, the event beautifully showcased India’s timeless traditions, vibrant legacy, and enduring cultural richness.
The programme opened with a touching welcome: Class XII students showered soft petals on honoured guests and juniors, followed by an electrifying bhangra performance pulsating to the rhythmic beats of the dhol. The venue brimmed with a sacred confluence—triveni—of unbridled joy, deep affection, and infectious laughter. Dressed in resplendent traditional attire, the outgoing students embodied the theme with remarkable grace, finesse, and aesthetic elegance.

Class XI students ignited the atmosphere with their high-energy bhangra, infusing every corner with zeal and vitality. The music teachers’ soulful renditions lent an extra layer of melody and enchantment. Adding delight and camaraderie, a series of fun-filled games saw enthusiastic participation from all Class XII students, turning the occasion into a tapestry of laughter and shared memories.
A highlight of the day was the crowning ceremony, where deserving students received prestigious titles and honours:

- Mr. Scholar First Runner-Up: Sahilpreet Singh
- Miss Scholar First Runner-Up: Divyanshi Mahajan

Additional accolades, including Best Speaker, Best Dressed, and Best Comedian, celebrated individual talents and personalities.
In her inspiring address, School Principal Mrs. Chandandeep Kaur urged the students to embrace timeless virtues, advance steadfastly along the path of discipline and dedication, and emerge as beacons of inspiration for society. The Head Girl delivered a deeply moving vote of thanks, capturing the collective emotions of gratitude and farewell.
The ceremony culminated in a symbolic cake-cutting and felicitation, graced by members of the School Management Committee. Each student was presented with beautiful bouquets and cherished mementos as tokens of appreciation and love.
