CM Mann’s Investor-Friendly Policies Yield Remarkable Results – State Excels in 5 Key Reform Areas

In a proud moment for Punjab, the Government of India has conferred the prestigious “Top Achiever” award on the state under the Business Reforms Action Plan (BRAP) 2024, recognizing the progressive and industry-friendly policies of the Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann-led government.
Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal presented the award to Punjab at a grand ceremony held in New Delhi today.
Punjab has secured top position by excelling in five critical reform areas:
- Business Entry
- Construction Permit Enablers
- Investment Enablers
- Sector-Specific Healthcare
- Services Sector
The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Government of India, lauded Punjab’s relentless efforts in creating a transparent, efficient, and investor-friendly ecosystem, reinforcing the state’s leadership in Ease of Doing Business.
Under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Mann, Punjab has witnessed unprecedented industrial growth since March 2022. The state has attracted investment proposals worth ₹1.23 lakh crore, poised to generate employment for 4.7 lakh youth.
Sectors like food processing, textiles, auto components, hand tools, bicycles, IT, and tourism are thriving, making Punjab a role model for other states.
