Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Punjab, Sibin C, announced that approximately 60.95% voter turnout was recorded till 6 PM in the bye-election for the Tarn Taran Assembly Constituency.
Sibin C stated that the final and precise figures will be updated by tomorrow after all polling parties return to the collection centres and complete the data entry process.
Expressing gratitude, the CEO thanked the voters of Tarn Taran for enthusiastically exercising their democratic right. He also applauded the exemplary efforts of Deputy Commissioners-cum-District Election Officers, Returning Officers, and all polling officials for seamless management and strict vigilance throughout the day.

Sibin C extended special appreciation to the Punjab Police and Central Armed Police Forces for maintaining a secure and fear-free environment at every polling station.
