State Information Commissioner Harpreet Sandhu dedicates display to World Photography Day 2025

Punjab’s Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Gurmeet Khudian, inaugurated the “Punjab in Frames” photo exhibition at Kala Sangam, Punjab Arts Council, Sector-16, Chandigarh. Organized by State Information Commissioner Harpreet Sandhu, the exhibition features his captivating photographs and is dedicated to World Photography Day 2025.
While viewing the collection, Minister Khudian described the exhibition as a unique tribute to Punjab’s natural beauty, rich heritage, and cultural legacy through compelling visual storytelling. He praised Sandhu’s photographs for vividly capturing Punjab’s essence, from its verdant fields and ancient monuments to sacred shrines and rural traditions. Khudian noted that the exhibition aims to foster appreciation and pride, particularly among the youth, for Punjab’s glorious heritage and natural splendor. The thoughtfully curated display offers an immersive journey into the heart of Punjab through Sandhu’s lens.

Chief Information Commissioner Inderpal Singh Dhanna commended Sandhu’s initiative, highlighting his dedication to showcasing Punjab’s cultural, natural, and spiritual identity through photography’s powerful medium.
Punjab Arts Council Chairman Swaranjit Savi also praised Sandhu’s efforts, emphasizing that his artistic preservation of Punjab’s essence reflects a deep commitment to the state’s heritage, environment, and culture. He added that the exhibition provides an opportunity for young people to reconnect with their roots.
