Agriculture Minister Wishes New Recruits Success and Urges Dedication to Empowering Punjab’s Farmers
Punjab’s Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Gurmeet Singh Khudian handed over appointment letters to 11 newly recruited Agriculture Development Officers (ADOs) in the Agriculture Department at his office on Friday.
Congratulating the new ADOs, Minister Khudian urged them to dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to their roles, working tirelessly to empower Punjab’s farmers and drive agricultural growth. He emphasized the critical role they play in guiding and supporting farmers to make Punjab a thriving agrarian state.
Recruitment Highlights
Khudian highlighted the department’s ongoing recruitment efforts, noting that on May 20, 2025, 184 ADOs received their appointment letters. With the addition of these 11 new recruits, the total number of ADOs appointed in the department has reached 195. He also underscored that the Punjab Government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, has provided over 55,000 government jobs to the state’s youth since coming to power.
