-Most Recruits Secure Their Second or Third Job Offer Under Current Government
Chandigarh, September 8,
On Monday, Punjab Finance Minister Advocate Harpal Cheema handed over appointment letters to 16 newly recruited clerks, a significant move to bolster the state’s financial administration. These appointments are for the newly established Directorate of Treasury and Accounts Branch, Pension, and New Pension Scheme.
A notable aspect of the event was that most of the recruits received their second or third job offer under the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. For example, Sandeep Kaur, appointed as a clerk, had previously secured roles in the police and cooperative bank. Similarly, Jeevan Singh, Happy Kumar, Sahil Syag, Avatar Singh, and Harpreet Singh noted that this was their second appointment. They expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for creating multiple employment opportunities for Punjab’s youth.
